Technology

The SEL Plus and Limited models also feature a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster.

Safety
The sedan has received a 5-Star Overall Safety rating from NHTSA. It offers extensive safety and driver-assistive technology, including adaptive cruise control, forward emergency braking, lane-keep assist, and driver attention warning system. You can also blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert with automatic braking, and safe exit warning in all Sonata cars except for the base model. The highway driving assist is standard on the SEL Plus, Limited, and N Line.

Fuel economy
The hybrid versions are highly fuel-efficient powertrains. Hybrid Blue has a rating of up to 50 mpg in the city and 54 mpg on the highway, whereas other hybrid models have a fuel economy of 45 mpg in the city and 51 mpg on the highway. The SE model offers a fuel economy of 28 mpg in the city, 38 mpg on the highway, and 32 mpg combined. For the N Line models, the rating drops to 23 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway.

Cargo space
The new Hyundai Sonata has 16 cubic feet of cargo space, giving it an edge over its competitors. The sedan also has split-folding rear seats giving you the convenience of hauling large items.

Price
You can get the new Hyundai Sonata at a starting price of $24,350. The Hybrid Limited costs over $35,000.
