About the INFINITI G37 Convertible
While customers can buy any model of the series, the G37 Convertible is something you cannot afford to miss. It is a reliable and high-performing two-door, four-passenger midsize luxury car.
Available trims
The INFINITI G37 is available in three trim levels: the base G37, G37 Sport, and INFINITI Performance Line. As you might have guessed, the top-level IPL trim has better features, including increased engine output, sport exhaust, better suspension turning, and unique badging.
Engine and transmission
The INFINITI G37 Convertible’s base and Sport trims are powered by a 3.7-liter V-6, producing 325 horsepower and 267 pound-feet of torque. Its IPL trim also comes with a V6 but can produce up to 343 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque. Depending on the trim, you can choose between a six-speed manual or seven-speed automatic transmission. All three trims have a standard RWD drivetrain and quality stabilizer bars for suspension.
Fuel economy
The Sport trim with manual transmission provides an EPA estimated fuel economy of 16 mpg in the city, 24 mpg on highways, and a combined EPA of 19 mpg. Automatic transmission fitted on the base and IPL trims provides an EPA of 17 mpg in the city, 25 on the highway, and a combined EPA of 20 mpg.
Exterior features
The INFINITI G37 Convertible has a sleek and curved design, sculpted bodywork, and a three-piece power-retractable hardtop roof. Some other key exterior features that catch the eye include eight body color options, 18/19-inch alloy wheels, a midnight-black grille, automatic HID headlights, fog lights, and heated power-folding outside mirrors. LED brake lights and a rear spoiler further enhance the vehicle’s look.
Interiors
Keeping up with its luxury brand name, INFINITI has offered multiple luxurious features, amenities, and décor. The key highlights include bucket seats, leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, heated front seats, adjustable driver and passenger seats, electroluminescent gauges, a leather-wrapped tilt and telescopic steering wheel, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. However, like most convertibles, the INFINITI G37 Convertible offers a tad bit less space for the rear seats and trunk. It can seat four, and the cargo space available is 10.3 cubic feet with the top up.
Infotainment and connectivity
The INFINITI G37 Convertible’s key infotainment and connectivity features include a seven-inch color display, satellite radio service, a navigation system with voice-activated controls, real-time traffic alerts, Bluetooth, a six-speaker surround sound system, and a USB port.
Safety features
While the base trim has standard features, higher variants have advanced safety technologies. Some features to expect are six airbags, traction control, a rearview camera, front active head restraints, rear roll bars, four-wheel anti-lock ventilated disc brakes, brake-force distribution, brake assist, pre-collision braking using sensor technology, and adaptive cruise control.
Optional features
INFINITI allows owners to customize their vehicles by providing many optional packages and features. The G37 Convertible may be upgraded with aluminum foot pedals, heated and cooled front seats, a navigation package, paddle shifters, performance-tuned steering and brakes, rear park-assist sensors, rain-sensing wipers, and a lot more.
Since the features can vary significantly depending on the trim, it is important to research well before purchasing.
