The coffee grounds will force the larvae to come to the surface, thereby depriving them of oxygen. It is an effective way of mosquito control as they kill the larvae even before they hatch.

Camphor
This is an eco-friendly way for mosquito control. Close all the doors and windows of a room and light a small amount of camphor. Leave the room. Come back in some time to see that you have gotten rid of all the mosquitoes. But beware as this has fire hazard; use a metal plate for the camphor lamp.

Garlic
Crush some cloves of garlic and boil them for some time.

Pour the liquid in a spraying bottle and spray them all around the room. This is a good and easy home remedy for mosquito control. You can even eat raw garlic daily to avoid mosquito bites.

Mint oil
Mint oil is also a good mosquito repellent. Mix the oil with water and spray it around your house. Not only will you be able to get rid of mosquitoes, but also make your house smell amazing!

Using chemical repellents and pesticides can be harmful to your health, and if you have children. If you are still going to use them, make sure you handle them with care and keep out of the reach of children.
