Kia Seltos variants and their costs
For SUV enthusiasts in the country, there are four major variants or trim levels of Kia Seltos, which offer amazing features.

Kia Seltos – Variants and Their Costs

Kia Seltos S
The base trim model has standard features like 16-inch alloy wheels, a spare-saver spare wheel, roof rails, a rear spoiler, and power-folding side mirrors.

The car also has some outstanding safety features.

  • Automatic halogen headlights
  • Burglar alarm
  • Anti-lock braking system
  • Keyless entry
  • Automatic high-beam
  • Halogen daytime running lights
  • Anti-theft immobiliser
  • Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist
  • Rear fog light
  • Driver Attention Alert
  • Speed-sensing auto-door lock
  • Lane Keeping and Lane Following Assist
  • Intelligent Speed Limit Assist
  • Front and rear parking sensors

Besides these, the Seltos S offers some other advanced safety features, such as Blindspot Collision Avoidance Assist, which uses sensors to detect objects, pedestrians, and vehicles in the car’s blind spots and warn the driver about them.

These spots are not visible to the driver.

It also has forward collision warning, which scans the road ahead and alerts the driver if a car is moving slower than usual or for any stopped vehicles that may cause a collision.

The interior of the Kia Seltos S is packed with a six-speaker sound system, Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a second-row air vent, a 12V power outlet in the front console, USB outlets in the front console, manual air-conditioning, a 4.2-inch instrument cluster screen, and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment display. Seltos S has about 600 kg of unbraked towing capacity available in both FWD and AWD. Kia Seltos S for a 2.0L FWD petrol variant can cost about $29,850.

Kia Seltos Sport
The second trim in line is the Kia Seltos Sport, which has almost all the previous trim’s features and a significant enhancement in its offerings. For example, it boasts a Dual 10.25″ Panoramic Display, an LCD Instrument Cluster, and a Coloured LCD Touch Screen for enhanced infotainment and navigation, as well as Kia Connect, which is a suite of connected car features. Compared with the S trim, the Kia Seltos Sport is better suited for tech-savvy drivers who prioritise more comfort and advanced technological features. As opposed to the S, the Sport variant comes with solar glass for the windscreen and front door glass, a premium steering wheel and shift knob, as well as Satellite Navigation Multimedia System with 10-year traffic information and a map care update. For all its added features, the price of the Seltos Sport bumps up to $33,050.

Kia Seltos Sport+
The next trim, Sport+, comes in two configurations: FWD (Forward Wheel Drive) and AWD (All-Wheel Drive). The FWD, where the engine’s power is directed to the vehicle’s front wheels, is a good option for urban and highway driving. It provides efficient handling and better fuel economy. The AWD configuration, on the other hand, distributes power on all four wheels. It is ideal for off-roading adventures or driving in areas with less-smoother road conditions. It offers better traction and stability. The Seltos Sport+ FWD offers a combined fuel consumption of 6.9 L/100 km, while the AWD variant sees an increase to 7.4 L/100 km. Apart from these, most features for both the Sport+ variants are the same. Both come with 50-litre fuel tank capacity, 17-inch alloy wheels, and 600 kg of unbraked towing capacity. They provide all the standard features of the previous two trims, plus elements like heated side mirrors, privacy glass, cloth and artificial leather upholstery, and a rear centre armrest.

In terms of safety, one can get some upgrades from the previous trims.

  • Autonomous Emergency Braking
  • Cyclist avoidance and junction turning assist
  • Adaptive cruise control
  • Electric park brake with auto-hold
  • Illuminated vanity mirrors
  • Lead Vehicle Departure Alert
  • Remote Engine Start

The price for the Sport+ can range from $36,150 to $39,670, but the indicative drive-away price can be $44,815.

Kia Seltos GT-Line
The flagship of the Seltos lineup, the Kia Seltos GT-Line, is the most feature-rich of the trims. The top model has exclusive features like 18-inch alloy wheels, LED fog lights, rear combination tail lights, Premium Gloss Black grille mesh, tilt and slide sunroof, power tailgate, rain-sensing window wipers, and interior ambient lights. Passengers can enjoy an eight-speaker Bose premium sound system, premium artificial leather upholstery, and heated and ventilated front seats with GT-Line. For added convenience, Kia also provides a wireless phone charger, a heated, flat-bottom steering wheel, a parcel shelf in the cargo area, a 10-way power driver seat, and an eight-way power front passenger seat. The price of the GT-Line can shoot up to $45,270.

While these are tentative price ranges for Kia Seltos, they can vary based on the location, dealership, insurance coverage, accident and driving record, add-on features one opts for, and ongoing deals. One can get better deals on the Seltos’ drive-away price and save significantly through discounts on seasonal promotions, special offers, or manufacturer incentives. In terms of warranty, Kia provides standard 1-year roadside assistance, 7 years of warranty for unlimited km, and standard interval service of 10,000 km/12 months for all its models.
