Engine and transmission
The Patriot is equipped with a 2.0 liter, 4-cylinder engine producing 158 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and a torque of 141 pound-feet at 5,000 rpm. Buyers can also opt for a 2.4 liter, 4-cylinder engine producing 172 horsepower and a torque of 165 pound-feet. They can also choose from a five-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. The Jeep Patriot has a fully independent touring-tuned suspension. The front-wheel-drive is standard in all models, and the all-wheel-drive system is optional.
Freedom Drive II Package
