Ingenuous ways to solve the messy-kitchen problem
A lot of people love cooking, and some have to go into the kitchen because, well, they have to. However, in either case, the common problem is a messy kitchen. There is absolutely no doubt that cooking is messy and there is nothing you can do about it. Some are great at keeping the kitchen tidy and some are not. That is where the importance of kitchen cleaning tips is seen.
Although we all wish for the cleaning part to happen magically, that isn’t really the case. So, here in this article, we’ll talk about some kitchen cleaning tips to solve the messy kitchen problem so that your kitchen looks cleaner than ever before.
Burnt pan bottoms – These are one of the major pain points while cooking and it takes forever to clean them. A lot of kitchen cleaners are available, but almost all of them have abrasives and harsh chemicals, which cause the luster of the pans to deteriorate. Bar keeper’s friend is the best solution for this problem. This has oxalic acid as its basic ingredient. Scrubbing those burnt pan bottoms will not only clean the pan but also make it look brand new.
Greasy grates – Another common and irritating problem is that of the greased grates. They are extremely difficult to clean.
Messy inside the oven? No problem, all that you have to do is coat the insides with a mixture of dish soap, baking soda, and water. After that, let it sit for almost 15 minutes (a few more minutes won’t do any harm). Wipe the mixture away. This technique can be used to clean dirty spots as well as the entire oven (except obviously the fabric gasket). The problem of dirty interiors of the oven can also be solved by buying oven liners or putting old baking sheets on a rack at the lowest settings.
However, in the worst case scenario, when you have to clean the oven racks, soak them in dryer sheets, dish soap, and hot water overnight. The outcome in the morning will definitely make you happy.
Sticky kitchen dust – This is another common problem and makes the entire kitchen look unclean. Although there are numerous kitchen cleaners available for this purpose, you could use cooking oil to solve the issue. Put some cooking oil on a paper towel and rub the areas with the sticky dust. After you’re done, you can use dish soap and warm water to wipe the oil off.
Lemon and kosher salt can be used to scrub the wooden cutting boards and make them look brand new.
