Causes and remedies of diarrhea
Diarrhea is a condition where bowel movements are frequent and loose “ watery. This is caused because of indigestion or improper digestion. This improper digestion is the result of bacterial infections, parasites, intestinal disorders or diseases. Diarrhea is one of the symptoms of stomach flu.
Increase your water intake when you are suffering from diarrhea. Your body is losing a lot of water dehydrating your body. When this happens, make sure you drink the adequate amount of water to keep your body hydrated.
Eating 4-5 bananas one after the other for a quick diarrhea relief. You can also eat curd rice as it helps with diarrhea.
Avoid spicy food to calm your diarrhea. Along with spicy food, avoid fruits, alcohol, and caffeine until your diarrhea has been cured. Do not have milk for few days. You can, however, have cheese or yogurt but avoid milk.
Medicines can also be taken to cure diarrhea. If your diarrhea is chronic, then directly go to the doctor before taking any medicines. In some cases, diarrhea can be serious and must be dealt with care and proper medical help.
You may also include in your diet to cure diarrhea are applesauce, toast, oatmeal, potatoes (boiled).
The food you must avoid which suffering from diarrhea is Alcohol. Artificial sweeteners, beans, berried, green leafy vegetables, cabbage, coffee, corn, ice cream, milk, peas, peppers, prunes and milk tea.
Once diarrhea is cured, you can work on keeping yourself healthy enough to try and never get diarrhea. Most health related problems humans face is because of problems in the digestive system. Work on keeping your diet as healthy as possible. Green leafy vegetables do not cause diarrhea but must be avoided only when you are suffering from it. Keep your self-hygienic “ wash hands properly before consuming food. Make sure you eat the right food and avoid having food from the street as there are high chances you will get digestive problems after consuming food from the street.
